How To Join
Join in person at any AWG monthly meeting; we accept payment by cash or check payable to Alameda Writers Group. You can also download an application (PDF) and mail it with your dues check to:

You can also mail your application and pay through PayPal directly on the site. Simply add a $2 service fee (which PayPal charges us) to the fee schedule below. Note on your application the date you sent your PayPal payment. As soon as we confirm it, we’ll process your application.

PRORATED DUES
AWG collects dues annually, prorated for the month in which you join. We then invoice all members at the end of each calendar year.

Consult the list below to see what you should pay for whenever you’re joining. If you submit your application and dues on or after the 10th of the month, then assume your membership will start on the first of the following month and pay accordingly.

January: $60/$62 online
(member from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31)

February: $55/$57 online
(member from Feb. 1 to Dec. 31)

March: $50/$52 online
(member from Mar. 1 to Dec. 31)

April: $45/$47 online
(member from Apr. 1 to Dec. 31)

May: $40/$42 online
(member from May 1 to Dec. 31)

June: $35/$37 online
(member from June 1 to Dec. 31)

July: $30/$32 online
(member from July 1 to Dec. 31)

August: $25/$27 online
(member from Aug. 1 to Dec. 31)

September: $80/$82 online
(member from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31 of the next year)

October: $75/$77 online
(member from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31 of the next year)

November: $70/$72 online
(member from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31 of the next year)

December: $65/$67 online
